PVC Celuka Board is a rigid, micro-foamed polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheet produced using a specialized Celuka extrusion process. This process creates a board with a dense, smooth, hard outer skin and a lightweight cellular core. It is widely recognized as a high-performance alternative to wood and other traditional materials.
Key Properties & Advantages:
1.Lightweight & High Strength: With a typical density of 0.4-0.8 g/cm³, it is significantly lighter than solid wood, MDF, or aluminum composite panels. Yet, its foam core provides excellent bending stiffness and impact resistance. This reduces transportation and handling costs.
2.Excellent Workability: One of its greatest strengths. It can be processed like high-quality hardwood using standard woodworking tools-sawing, drilling, routing, planing, nailing, screwing, and gluing are all straightforward. It can also be thermoformed, bent, and welded, offering immense design flexibility.
3.Durability & Weather Resistance: PVC is inherently waterproof, moisture-proof, and resistant to a wide range of chemicals (acids, alkalis, salts). With UV-stabilized additives, it performs well outdoors without rotting, corroding, or being damaged by insects. It is an ideal material for humid or corrosive environments.
4.Fire Safety: PVC Celuka Board is inherently flame-retardant. It is difficult to ignite and will self-extinguish once the flame source is removed.
5.Eco-Friendly: It contains no formaldehyde or lead (in modern formulations) and is 100% recyclable. Using it helps reduce deforestation and supports sustainable manufacturing practices.
